Gino Di Prospero

Gino Di Prospero born in San Felice Circeo (Latina) . Since he was a young boy he has revealed a strong attitude at painting that he attending constantly taking care at the studios of various artists especially one of must important, Tornabuoni in via dei Riari (Rome) at the 70's beginning.
Gino Di Prospero in the first time prefered subjects relating to Far East. A choice that was developed by the affinity established between his kindly, extroverted, real attitude and the tendency at the mellow colours of some scenaries. The artist, after the printing of his catalogue “The colours of the soul” 2008/2009 the artist senses an interior thrust, a transformation that manifests itself with obvious color explosion, chromatic gesture, energetic, decisive, which increases more and more when it primarily represents subjects with the sea and its surroundings, reminiscent of itself, childhood memories, where on the banks, where he spent whole days.
The canvases of the sea are presented to the public without a free frame, in fact, how can you catch the sea? The shapes on the canvas come out strongly, rich in color, attract and involve the subjects and everything around them.
A pictorial force that is emerging from the artist in an irrepressible way and increases every day more and more even after the Triennale of Verona, June 12, 2016 where he won the First Prize of Criticism Awarded by the Critical Committee by Prof. V. Sgarbi.
By now,the Artist Gino Di Prospero live and work in Latina in his lab where he develop and create through his sensations…
